The terrifying demonic nun who terrorises the two paranormal investigators in ‘The Conjuring 2’ is getting her own spin-off movie. Pretty soon to be making that decision (the movie has only just hit cinemas) but she must be that much of a scary bitch that the producers thought it to be a good idea.

As the lead villain of ‘The Conjuring 2’ the nun chases around the two main characters, married couple Ed and Lorraine Warren (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) as they seek to investigate the famous Enfield haunted house (read more about this movie here).

James Wan, who directed the two Conjuring movies, has said that he is on board as producer, although there is no announcement of who will direct as of yet. Seems like this franchise just keeps growing and growing – we had the first Conjuring which gave birth to the ‘Annabelle’ spin-off. Now we’ve got ‘The Nun’ created from the second Conjuring and there’s also going to be a second ‘Annabelle’ movie coming out next year. Maybe that’s slight overkill on the demonic genre? Having said that, I’ll still probably go and watch all of them because horror’s the best.
