Greta Thunberg has been unusually quiet during the global pandemic, but she’s returned to prominence yet again after CNN announced that she would be on a panel of Coronavirus experts on a live CNN Town Hall that will air on the American news network tonight.

The panel will be chaired by Anderson Cooper and completed by CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, former Centres for Disease Control and Prevention Director Richard Besser and former Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. You can kinda see why Greta Thunberg is the odd one out there and obviously a bunch of people took to Twitter to voice their anger at this, led by Donald Trump JR himself:

I mean you can kinda see why they’re annoyed because it doesn’t make any sense, but I think it’s a case of people just jumping on it and promoting it incorrectly themselves. She was advertised as a special guest alongside an expert panel, not an expert herself and people just jumped on it and went wild. The show Greta is appearing on is called ‘Coronavirus: Facts and Fears’ and a whole bunch of people have appeared on it like Al Gore and Spike Lee and it seems that you don’t have to be an expert to contribute, just someone who can act as a mouthpiece for the common person or whatever.
So basically everyone just jumped on it because they wanted to rag on Greta Thunberg. What’s new?
