4) London, England
Hurray! London’s on the list! Anyone who’s been to the London Underground will have seen the dirty little disease hampers scurrying along the tracks. What a joy to see wildlife in such a bustling city centre.
London 2012 did its part to support the rats by leaving a few abandoned buildings for them to inhabit and thrive in. The Daily Mail, bastion of truth and light, recently put out an article warning of an invasion of two foot long rats that are immune to poison in England. But going on their previous performance I presume the rats are one foot long and slightly less susceptible to poison than normal.
It is true that rats are becoming hardier where poisons are concerned though; evolution in practice: rats that are sensitive to a poison die and don’t get to mate, those that are less weakened by the poison do get to mate and pass on their hardcore anti-poison genes. Thus the world is slowly filled with unkillable, ultra-rats. Uh oh…
