We got really excited about this Batman roller coaster last September when we saw a virtual reality video of it in action. It looked great back then but now it’s actually open and people are riding it it looks even more insane then it did back then.
The big gimmick of it is that it’s a 4D roller coaster, which basically means that you’re strapped into a seat that spins all over the place as you’re going around the track. There are also a couple of beyond 90 degree drops which do look pretty unique when you’re strapped into these chairs and way better than the beyond 90 degree drop on the Saw ride at Thorpe Park.
Although it looks more like a ‘fun’ ride rather than one that scares the crap out of you and makes you scream your ass off like The Smiler, I still need to ride it because it’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Trouble is it’s all the way over in Texas and I doubt I’ll be going there anytime soon, but hopefully the equivalent will pop up in one of our parks fairly soon. 4D buddy.
